International Summer School “Veterinary in Biological Safety” - 2024
The International Summer School - 2024, organized by KazNARU (Kazakh National Agrarian Research University), was held from June 3 to June 14, 2024 in ten areas.
The goal of the ISS – 2024 is to provide new knowledge, teach practical skills, innovative technologies and scientific research methods.
Lectures and practical classes were given by 39 teachers from the school “Veterinary in Biosafety,” including 19 from Kazakhstan, 2 from Turkey, 5 from Uzbekistan, 1 from Pakistan, 5 from China, 3 from Romania, 1 from France.
The head of the school is Sansyzbay Abylay Ryspaiuly, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, professor;
Moderator – Ilgekbayeva Gulnaz Duisekovna, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor of the Department of Biological Safety.
Facilitator – Dzhanabaev Saparkhan Demeuovich, assistant of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology;
Technical secretary - Elena Konstantinovna Bredikhina, Master of Veterinary Sciences, senior lecturer at the Department of Biological Safety.
The director of the Lanzhou Institute of Agriculture and Pharmaceuticals of the Chinese Academy of Agriculture, Professor Zhang Jiyu spoke on behalf of our school at the opening ceremony and the professors of the said institute Shang Xiaofei and Li Bing also took part.
The ISS-2024 program included lectures, master classes and round tables that shape the professional and interpersonal competence of participants. In addition, the team of summer school teachers is made up of professionals of the highest level - leading scientists, representatives of industry research institutes and production.
As part of the ISS-2024, on-site classes were organized at the research and production enterprise “Antigen”LLP and “Amiran” LLP, where participants became familiar with the technology for the production of biological preparations and raising dairy cows.
On Saturday, a team of students took an active part in the sports competition “Sport Fest” dedicated to the Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024, and as a result, the team of schools of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine took first place.
KazNARU Summer School is an excellent opportunity for students to dive deeper into the educational process, expand their knowledge and meet new faces in the field of science.
