Trip to Prokhodnoye Gorge (Alma-Arasan)

On February 15, 2025, students of Vet-24-18A from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Engineering, together with their curator Ötebayev Zh.M., embarked on an exciting journey to one of the most picturesque spots of the Zailiysky Alatau – Prokhodnoye Gorge (Alma-Arasan).

The weather was perfect – clear skies, crisp mountain air, and breathtaking views! Equipped with warm clothes, snacks, and water, the students eagerly set off on their adventure, immersing themselves in the stunning scenery of snow-capped peaks, evergreen forests, and winding trails.

Along the way, they encountered natural thermal springs, where steam rose mystically from the water, creating a magical and tranquil atmosphere. Many saw this phenomenon for the first time, sparking great curiosity and admiration.

After hiking several kilometers through well-trodden snowy paths, the group took a short break, brewing hot tea and coffee right on the spot. There’s nothing like a warm drink in the fresh mountain air! As they sipped, they shared stories and soaked in the peaceful beauty of nature.

"This trip was a perfect escape from our daily studies, a chance to recharge, and an unforgettable experience! We’ll definitely do it again!" – shared the students enthusiastically.

This adventure was not just a day off but a reminder of the importance of appreciating and preserving nature.
