ABAI’S LEGACY – A GUIDING COMPASS OF NATIONAL SPIRITUALITY: HONORING IT IS A SACRED DUTY OF EVERY CITIZEN

On November 19, 2025, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics hosted an educational and cultural event dedicated to Abai Kunanbayuly’s philosophical doctrine «Tolyk Adam». The event was organized by students of the Vet-25-12 group under the guidance of Z.A. Shytyrbayeva, Assistant of the N.U. Bazanova Department of Animal Biology. The main goal was to introduce students to Abai’s principles of morality, spiritual growth, education, and upbringing, and to foster in young people a sense of integrity, responsibility, and humanistic values.

During the event, students recited excerpts from Abai’s Book of Words and poems, emphasizing the relevance of the «Tolyk Adam» concept for today’s youth. Through theatrical performances, creative projects, and reflective presentations, they successfully conveyed the profound spiritual values embedded in Abai’s teachings.

The event was attended by the Head of the N.U. Bazanova Department of Animal Biology, G.K. Djanabekova, as well as faculty members and students, who highly praised the students’ preparation, initiative, and creativity.

The Vet-25-12 group demonstrated strong organizational skills and a high level of responsibility. The group mentor, Z.A. Shytyrbayeva, placed special attention on the students’ moral and spiritual development, significantly contributing to the meaningful and successful conduct of the event.
