Professors and Lecturers Enhanced Their Qualifications at the “Reference Center for Safety and Quality of Agricultural Products” of KazNARU
✅ At the Reference Center for Safety and Quality of Agricultural Products of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), practical training on “Modern Food Technologies and Analysis Methods” was conducted for the professors and lecturers of Almaty Technological University (ATU).
✅ The training program covered methods for assessing the safety and quality of agricultural and food products, as well as the acquisition of practical laboratory analysis skills.
✅ Participants performed hands-on work using modern laboratory and analytical equipment. In particular, the MilkoScan device was used to demonstrate rapid determination of key indicators in milk and dairy products (protein, fat, lactose, dry matter, etc.).
✅ Additionally, the Foss Somatic device was used to determine somatic cell counts in milk. Chromatographic systems were employed to demonstrate methods for detecting antibiotic residues in agricultural and food products, with all key analysis steps shown. Practical work on determining fat content in food products by extraction was conducted using the Soxhlet apparatus.
✅ The event aimed to strengthen scientific and academic collaboration between universities and enhance the professional competence of specialists in food safety.
