From April 1-3, 2025, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), the Institute for Green and Sustainable Development participated in the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty, where the 15th International Exhibition of Greenhouses & Flowers GreenHouses & Flowers 2025 was held. This significant event brought together leading specialists of the agro-industrial sector, manufacturers, suppliers and investors from all over the world.
Kazakh National Agrarian Research University took an active part in the exhibition, presenting its works and developments in the field of greenhouse technologies and crop production.
Participation in GreenHouses & Flowers 2025 allowed establishing valuable contacts with international partners discuss cooperation prospects and exchange experience with colleagues from different countries.
GreenHouses & Flowers 2025 is one of the key events in the agro-industrial sector, bringing together leading industry experts, producers, suppliers and investors. The exhibition was attended by more than 100 companies from 16 countries, presenting advanced solutions in the field of agriculture. There were advanced technologies, which were demonstrated at GreenHouses & Flowers exhibition, experience was exchanged, and mutually beneficial agreements were concluded. For example, a meeting was organized with the Turkish company Innocem, which agreed to be the initiator of a meeting with a university in
Turkiye. The issues on exchange of students, inviting professors to the International Summer School 2025 and MBA/EMBA program of KazNARU were discussed.
The main directions of the exhibition GreenHouses & Flowers 2025:
- modern greenhouse technologies and equipment
- effective irrigation systems and fertilizers
- innovative methods of plant protection
- development of horticulture and nursery
- the latest agro-technologies to increase yields
- storage and processing of fruit and berry products
In addition to visiting the exposition, representatives from KazNAIU took part in the business program. Gulfaridat Aimananovna, a lecturer of KazNAIU gave a speech. Leading industry experts shared practical knowledge and discussed trends in agribusiness development, including energy-saving technologies, modern agrochemicals and innovations in greenhouse farming.
